From the welfare needs of the elderly to renewal

of the service structure

Background
The current welfare services are structured according to the organizational and service oriented principles and their aim is mainly to produce statutory services. The renewal of the service structure to a more customer-oriented direction requires information on the different welfare needs of the customers and segments of customers with different needs.

Objectives
The purpose of this research is to concept a service structure that is based on the needs of the elderly customers and supports the promotion of their welfare. Furthermore, the service structure is an integrated whole from the customers standpoint and cost-effective from the point of view of the public sector.

Expected Contribution
New business opportunities for the private sector and allocation of voluntary work.
