Research at Technology Business Research Center (TBRC) culminates in combining new and interesting issues from technology- and business-oriented problems, both from academic and managerial point of view. We are in a unique position being able to draw resources and knowledge from three faculties at Lappeenranta University of Technology, complemented with knowledge from our international networks. Participating faculties are The School of Business, Faculty of Technology Management, and Faculty of Technology.

New From the welfare needs of the elderly to renewal of the service structure -project started in April 2010.

Mentorointi-hanke

The purpose of this project is to add cooperation between university and companies with mentoring. The actors, consisting of post-graduate students and young researchers of LUT, get personal mentor from the business life.

The communication between the actor and the mentor
A) Helps mentor understand the current educational level of university, and
B) Helps actor understand the requirements of business for his own field of research.
